“I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons” NKJV

Hello, my name is Pastor Godfrey Sifiso Gwebu but everyone calls me Pastor Godfrey. This is my testimony of placing demons on the run in the name of Jesus Christ.

I grew up not far from Sikhwahlane, South Africa which is in the bush area where South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland all come together.

I was third born of seven children. Dad was a general laborer and mom was a stay at home housewife. We were in Sunday school and church all the time and active in all the youth events. I was a good church boy, but it wasn’t until I was sixteen years old that I received Jesus Christ as my savior and the fire of the Holy Spirit turned my life upside down.

One day I was your average kid in school going to church and the next I was preaching salvation to everyone, everywhere. I preached at HIV/AIDS funerals where everyone needed Jesus. And they responded. I preached on the streets where everyone needs a savior and they came. I bought a portable microphone and preached every opportunity I could. At taxi stands, at bus corners and in High School. All my friends came to know the Lord.

Then I attended University in Pretoria, South Africa. The fire of the Holy Spirit burned within me. I could not contain it. Everyone I met was introduced to Jesus Christ the King of Kings.

I took Pastoral studies by internet, while at the University, and learned all I could about the Bible and Pastoring. When I graduated I started teaching school but the desire to save souls overwhelmed my spirit. A few years later I opened a church leaving the teaching profession and I’ve never looked back.

Throughout this process of evangelism, the Holy Spirit gave me a special gift that makes demons run. When I’m asked to help people, they are set free. There was a man who was burdened with extreme stomach problems for years. Doctors could do nothing. He asked me to help. I fasted for fourteen days and commanded the demons to leave. He was fine as the demons left on the run.

An old man asked for help who had difficulty breathing in and out. Every breath was an extreme effort which left him fatigued with little energy. I commanded the demons to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and he was set free and the demons left on the run.

A woman had a challenge where she was being harassed by ancestor spirits which she encountered during witchcraft. She asked for help and the demons of torment were sent running. She was released immediately and began shouting, “I’m saved. I’m set free. Thank you, Jesus”.

The Cross of Christ we just planted is a symbol of what Jesus did for me when He died for my sins and was resurrected. But in reality, the Cross of Christ dwells in my heart. It’s the power of the Cross that makes the demons run.

Our neighborhood is going to see, by this Cross, that Jesus resides here. This is a place of Jesus. And we will become even better known as the place with the landmark Cross. Come, come now and be set free and set your demons on the run. Sickness must bow, addictions must flee, bondages must pass away, and strong holds must disappear before Jesus Christ. Come now and your demons will flee.

My favorite Bible verse is: Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” NKJV

Pastor Bill, tell all your readers for me. We can’t stop reaching souls for Jesus Christ until the whole world knows Him. There is such darkness in this world and it is the light of Jesus that will set them free — setting their demons on the run.
